We all know that Europe is home to some of the world’s greatest tourist attractions and iconic places. But did you know that the continent has certain cities that offer the best nightlife in the entire world?

If you are a party animal and are planning on vacationing in Europe over the summer, you have reached the right place to find out about the best places to party there! These party places will never disappoint.

From captivating music festivals to world-class nightclubs, from refreshing beach parties to posh restaurants, each has it’s own unique flare and offerings to help you party your socks off and live your best life!

1. Ibiza, Spain

Ok so you GOTTA visit the clubbing capital of the world at least once in your lifetime. Even if partying isn’t your thing, this famous island in Spain is a site to behold.

You can definitely count on Ibiza to have one of the best nights of your life. Pack your bags and get ready for some sleepless nights that are totally worth it.

Whether you are dancing your night away at Amnesia which can hold a capacity of more than four thousand people, or having a gala time at Sant Antoni, this island will make sure that you have a whale of a time.

2. Berlin, Germany

Berlin’s gritty, underground nightlife scene is in stark contrast with Ibiza’s high end, luxury vibes. But a no less important city on the list! Crazy party scenes with thrilling techno clubs, you can imagine what epic nightlife this German city has to offer.

Do not miss a visit to the most élite nightclub in Berlin, Berghain. With 3 dance floors and an around the clock party, Berghain is a site to see. However, it’s infamous for being very hard to get into. The bouncers are strict so come wearing your best techno goth attire and try to not speak if you’re foreign (the less said and the more mysterious, the better). Not for the faint at heart…expect to see naked people, people doing drugs on the dance floor, and maybe even some fornicating in a dark corner (no joke lol).

If you are fortunate enough to visit Berlin during New Year’s Eve, Brandenburg Gate is the venue you should be at. A high-spirited party atmosphere is created with live bands that put up an electrifying show and huge fireworks and music that carry the event further until the early hours of a brand-new New Year.

3. The Secret Project Festival, Portugal

Taking place right on Praia de Rocha beach in Portugal, Secret Project is one of the most fun festivals in Europe in the summer! It features a lineup of house, techno, and drum & bass artists (in fact it’s the biggest drum and base festival in Europe).

The party is only an hour drive from the Faro airport, thus making it easy to access…or fly into Lisbon if you’re coming from an international destination and make the 3-4 hour drive from there.

First held in Los Angeles, this music festival has set itself earlier in Miami as well as in Amsterdam. It is truly a sin for a music lover to miss out on this golden opportunity.

4. Prague, Czech Republic

The capital of the Czech Republic, Prague is a heavenly place for party-goers. Keeping the party cheap and high-class at the same is a trick the Golden City surely knows to pull off.

The Karlovy Lazne Club is also known as the biggest music club in the central part of the European continent.

Now, what makes it so famous that people from all across the globe fantasize to be a guest there?  It has to be its five stories image, each one representing a different facility of entertainment. Constructed in 1999, this nightclub has all that you want to experience.

At Chapeau Rouge, you can head towards rooftop bars; fancy cocktail bars, or even burn up the dance floor with those jazzy little dance moves.

What is more interesting to note is that the drinks here only cost a couple of dollars. This place is indeed a paradise on Earth for someone who wants to keep the expense to a minimum

Another party place full of sophistication would be taking a cruise down the Vltava River. Cocktail drinks are served at a reasonable price while you overlook the beautiful stretch of water.

5. Paradise Beach, Greece

Situated in Mykonos (South Aegean, Greece), Paradise Beach is named one of the most visited beaches worldwide.

Established in the year 1969, the water’s edge is filled with amazing bashes, bistros, bars, water sports, and also the 14th best club all across the globe. This makes Paradise Beach in Greece an exotic party hub.

With ample deck chairs and tanning recliners, find yourself in the middle of beach raves and open club socials. In order to reach the tropical island, the easiest option is to take a ferry.

A striking island set off the Adriatic Sea in Croatia, the town of Hvar has the best summer nightlife. The word ‘sleep’ is banished here as the quint town has some or the other event going on every night.

Partying here with your loved ones is worthy for the mind to remember and the eyes to behold. The experience is a fascinating one! The best time to visit Hvar would be from the latter half of the year to September.

Known for its cocktail parties and awfully good nightlife, this town welcomes as many as 20 thousand visitors each passing day in its summertime.

You will find some of the best emerging DJs of all time at Bonj Beach. Said to be the land of lovelies, go on and experience it yourself!

7. London, England

One cannot miss London when it comes to painting the town red. There is absolutely no shadow of a doubt that variety is found in plenty here considering London is one of the most modern and safe party spots.

Like elsewhere, there is no chance for the party to stop until dawn starts to set in. Some ritzy club names on the list include Fabric, Heaven, and Studio 338.

To party without having to care about what others think, turn towards SOHO in ‘The Smoke’ city. Wondering what SOHO means? Famous for its social life, it is a neighborhood situated right in the city center.

Despite the fact Stockholm may call a halt to its nightlife earlier as compared to other European cities, this capital city knows how to the maximum and the right way!

Dance till you drop to the energetic beats of EDM. Get a closer look at the live music at Fasching. Roof parties are a lot of fun here, especially in the early months of the summer season.

10. Belgrade, Serbia

Last but not least comes Belgrade in Serbia. Not everyone is aware of this city as a party place in Europe. I sure wasn’t when I first arrived. But it is a city that really pleasantly surprised me.

If you’re there to party, March to May seems the best time for visiting the capital city. As there are endless events and parties to be found!

Make sure to check out the party barge clubs along the water. This seems to be where everyone flocks to on the weekends. You can navigate to Freestyler (this seems to be the one that all the taxis know) and then just hop from place to place in search of your vibe and music taste. Each one is going to offer a unique vibe and different flavor of music.

Or if nightclubs and dancing aren’t really your thing. Check our Bohemian street for a wide selection of festive restaurants, where you can eat, drink, and even watch live bands perform traditional folk songs. Then head to Riddle Bar for speakeasy vibes or Kandahar for shisha.

There are also tons of cool cocktail bars - like Central Bar - where you can tell the bartender your favorite ingredients and liquors and have them make you a custom drink. Or Podrum Wine Art - for a wide selection of Serbian and foreign wines from all around the world.

Belgrade also has it’s fair share of speakeasy bars too! Some popular ones are Druid and Belgrade Cocktail Club.
