Hello, My Name Is Lauren.

I’m an Austin, Texas native currently based in Los Angeles - where I live with my boyfriend and 3 pets. I caught the wander-bug early, and was constantly dreaming of far off places like Bali and Africa even as a kid….begging my parents to take me places!

As I grew up, I started traveling solo and came to love that way of seeing the world….doing things on my terms (which usually involved packing as many activities in as possible and very little sleep lol). During this time I also worked a full time job, so in order to pursue my passion, I had to become an expert at finagling my vacation days and maximizing my time off to see as much as I could.

At the beginning of 2019, I was also able to transition to working remotely as a digital nomad! I am now self-employed working in branded content, influencer & social media marketing and loving every minute. Location independence and the digital nomad lifestyle has become a big part of my blog as well.
